Capabilities

Complete compliance coverage, zero manual tracking

Mothusi manages your compliance calendar so you never scramble before a tender submission or miss a deadline that locks you out of a contract.

Real-Time Monitoring

All 6 certificate types monitored continuously. Expiry dates extracted by AI when documents are uploaded — no manual date entry, no spreadsheet to maintain.

AI Validation

Mothusi reads the certificate content, extracts expiry date and issuing authority, and flags mismatches — catching certificates issued to the wrong entity or with the wrong registration number before they cause problems.

30-Day Advance Alerts

Alerts cascade at 30, 14, 7, and 1 day before expiry — with each alert including the drafted renewal application, so you're always starting from a complete submission, not a blank form.

Auto-Embed in Proposals

Valid certificates are automatically included in every proposal and tender submission — the right document, the right version, every time. Expired certificates are blocked from inclusion.

FAQ

Common questions

Which certificates does Mothusi track?
Mothusi tracks 6 certificate types: Tax Clearance (SARS), B-BBEE Certificate (SANAS-accredited), CIPC Annual Returns (company registration), Financial Statements, Proof of Business Address, and Bank Statements. Each has its own expiry monitoring, advance alerts, and automated renewal preparation — including the exact supporting documents each certificate type requires.
How does AI document validation work?
When you upload a certificate, Mothusi uses OCR and AI to extract the expiry date, certificate number, issuing authority, and entity details. It cross-references these against your company profile to confirm the certificate is valid for your specific entity — catching common errors like expired dates, incorrect registration numbers, or certificates issued to a different legal entity.
What happens when a certificate expires?
Mothusi sends alerts at 30, 14, 7, and 1 day before expiry — each with a drafted renewal application included. If a certificate expires, it is immediately flagged in your compliance dashboard, blocked from being auto-embedded in proposal submissions, and a penalty waiver request is prepared if the lapse was brief and there are grounds for waiver.
