Trust, security and responsible AI
Clear controls over who can access information, how AI is used and where human approval is required.
Mothusi is built for institutions managing sensitive business information, programme evidence and funding decisions.
The platform keeps AI assistance, MGS rules and human approval separate.
How AI is used.
Mothusi AI works only with the information a user is authorised to access.
Depending on the programme configuration, it can:
- Explain requirements
- Extract signals from conversations and documents
- Draft reports, proposals and other business documents
- Identify missing or inconsistent information
- Pre-check evidence
- Summarise records
- Recommend next actions
AI does not approve funding, procurement, compliance or other material decisions.
MGS scores, tiers and lever requirements are governed by the MGS methodology and the evidence attached to the Growth Record. Where human verification is required, the relevant reviewer must sign off before the record changes.
AI-generated outputs can be reviewed before they are saved, shared or submitted.
Access and data controls.
Mothusi supports:
- Role-based access
- Separate customer and Network environments
- Configurable sharing permissions
- Record-level audit history
- Data export and offboarding procedures
- Retention and deletion controls
- Incident-response processes
Hosting regions, subprocessors and AI providers are disclosed for each deployment.
Security controls and contractual terms are confirmed during procurement. Mothusi does not claim certifications that have not been completed and independently evidenced.
Professional advice.
Mothusi may help organise information and prepare questions, but specialist legal, financial, medical and agricultural advice remains the responsibility of qualified professionals.
Due-diligence information.
A procurement pack is available for institutional review. It covers:
- Platform architecture and data flows
- Hosting and subprocessors
- Access roles and permissions
- Retention and deletion
- Security controls
